Ruth Group

Contact Susan Sawyer (721-1476) or Karen Roberts (729-0518).

The Ruth Group is a multi-generational women's book group. Our book selection is designed to reflect the many interests and experiences of our varied participants. Book choices range from the very casual to rather learned, and everything in between. Some books are contemporary, some classic, some fiction, some nonfiction. We discuss a mix of books that we hope will contribute to the expression of our own thoughts, deepen friendships, stimulate thinking about differing perspectives, and help span the distances of time and space among individuals.

We value a sense of safety in the group and have an agreement of confidentiality; what is discussed in the group stays in the group! Book Ends usually offers a discount on our selections. We try to choose books that are available in paperback.

New participants are always welcome, as are folks who haven't quite managed to read the book being discussed that month. Transportation to our meetings is always available. Please call one of the leaders if you would like a ride.

Meetings are typically the last Sunday evening of the month at 7:30 PM. Meetings are held in someone’s home, and a facilitator leads the discussion. We’d love to have you join us – once, or each time! There’s no need to sign up in advance or “join” in any way. If you have questions or need help with transportation, call Susan Sawyer (781-721-1476), Mary Ann McCall-Taylor (781-729-6258), or Karen Roberts (781-729-0518).
