Bible Study is offered on the third Wednesday of the month, at 7:30 PM. The group is open to all. A different piece of scripture is studied each week and the historical, political and religious factors present in the chosen text are discussed. Led by Reverend Judy Arnold, Minister of Youth and Parish Life, we try to understand what ancient scripture has to tell us about ourselves and the world we live in today. Most importantly, students seek to discover what God desires for each individually. This is an informal group, with participants ranging from the well versed to novices. Those present often spend as much time on fellowship as on study. Please join us!
Adult Bible StudyLay led adult bible study is held weekly at 9AM, before the church service, in the Henry room. Classes are informal and require no background knowledge. Each week we will look at the Scripture that will be used in the service, so you get a chance to think about it in a different setting. Coffee and snacks are available after each one, while you wait for the start of the 10 o'clock service. All are welcome! Questions? |
