Adult Education

The Adult Education Group develops programs and events that enhance the educational and spiritual life of adults in the church. The group often partners with other groups in the church to offer well rounded programs that are of interest to many. The Adult Ed Group also organizes a church wide book group called the Great Books Program. Through the great book program, several books are chosen for the congregation to read and discuss each year, including a summer reading book. For "BREAD FOR THE JOURNEY" -- A Lenten Film Festival
meeting at 6:30 pm in the Tucker Room

We'll watch a movie together (current films and intriguing documentaries and short films), and join in some conversation about what we've watched. On Sunday evening, February 1 we begin with the documentary film, ONE: The Movie. Come watch this highly acclaimed documentary and share your own thoughts about the questions the movie asks. Among other movies to follow in March are BABETTE'S FEAST and LARS AND THE REAL GIRL.
