Spiritual Development
We are all part of one body of Christ, each with different gifts to offer our church, and our world. Every member of our church community from our youngest to our oldest is important and has a vital role to play. As disciples, we continuously learn from, share with, listen to, and teach each other.
Resting in the Heart SpaceConsidering Compassionate Care This Spring we'll consider what it means to be "present" with someone through all types of challenges. We'll talk about how we encounter our own feelings/faith/embodiment of the spirit, so we can care for others and ourselves. What does our faith tell us about the way of compassion, forgiveness, courage, celebration, and joy? How do we rest sure and strong in the heart space where we have the ability to access the divine already within us? Susan Bailey, chaplain at Brigham & Women's Hospital, will join us on March 4 and The Rev. Dr. Ken Orth will be with us on March 11 and 18.
