VOCAL CHOIRS

Senior Choir The Senior Choir is open to both students and adults. The Choir is responsible for providing the choral music for our 10:00 a.m. worship services from September through June. Regular rehearsals occur Thursday evenings, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings 9:15 - 9:45 a.m.

Cantata Choir During the Advent and Lenten seasons, the Senior Choir and additional singers present a cantata or other major choral work with chamber orchestra as a special musical offering. Singers who normally cannot sing on a regular basis are invited to join us for these special occasions.

Youth Singers Singers in grades 7-12 will be recruited for special occasions and may sing with other choirs.

Junior Choir Children of all ages are involved in music at the First Congregational Church. The junior choir, for children in 1st -5th grade, makes joyful noise during several services each year. The Junior Choir performs in worship several times each year and rehearses on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Cynthia Wankowicz, Conductor.

Cherub Choir For children ages 3-6 is led by Pam McPherson The cherub choir is a wonderful introduction to music for our littlest singers. Practices occur before an event during their church school time. Pamela McPherson, Conductor with assistance from our high school youth.
