Parish Visitors

The Parish Visitors are volunteers who keep in touch with our members, including older members who are unable to attend church service, those who are hospitalized or in nursing homes, and those who have had a loss such as a death or tragedy in the family. The Parish Visitors also:

  • Meet and greet people after church during coffee hour.
  • Bring Christmas and Easter flowers to our homebound members.
  • Organize a Fall tea for elders who live in the Gables, a nearby assisted living facility.
  • Organize a Spring tea at the church for our elders who don't get out regularly.
  • Brings Soup and Cake to our homebound members after the Stone Soup Lunch and all Church Birthday Party.
  • Send birthday cards to our elderly church members.
  • Visit our members who are in nursing homes or hospitals, or any other church member who would like a visit.
  • For more information about the Parish Visitors, please contact George Heeb at ParishVisitors@fcc-winchester.org.
